420 Kush Brownies

Kush Brownies

Maybe you are tired of hurting your lungs with smoke, or maybe you just want to get high without people knowing you are doing it. Whatever your reasoning, here is how you go about making your very own weed brownies. Enjoy!

Things You'll Need

Medium to large sized pot
Measuring cup
Strainer
Stirring spoon
Grinder
Baking pan

Ingredients

1/4-1/2 ounce Kush
1 box brownie mix
2 eggs
2/3 cup vegetable Oil
1/2 cup water
 Step 1: Grind Your Weed
Stick your weed in your grinder and grind that stuff up. It must be ground finely to ensure that all of the THC comes out during the baking process.

Step 2: Weed Butter

This is the most critical stage of the process. Mess this up, and you could be looking at a 1/2 ounce of wasted weed. Pour your ground weed into 2/3 cups vegetable oil and simmer over low heat for 15-30 minutes until pot butter is golden brown. If undercooked, the THC won't absorb into the oil, if overcooked it will turn into a black tar-like goop.
It is probably a good idea to not be high when you are doing this, as nothing will harsh your mellow worse than some wasted bud.

Step 3: Strain It

The next step is to strain the chunks out of your pot butter. There is debate on how much straining is needed, but you are probably fine with just getting the bigger chunks out and pouring the remaining liquid into your batter.

Step 4: Combine the Contents

Now it's time to make the batter! Follow the directions on the back of the Betty Crocker brownie mix box. Pour it all in a bowl, and stir it up.

Step 5: Preheat

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees!

Step 6: Bake It!

Pop that brownie pan in the oven for about 25 minutes. Once they are done, let them sit until cool.

Step 7: Chow Down

Now it's time to enjoy your culinary masterpiece. They will taste slightly different that normal brownies, and will take about 30 minutes to kick in. The high will be a little different than smoking, as well.
